All custom waterfall tables are available as Live Edge, Butcher Block, or the more traditional Classic-Cut. Each of these styles features endless customizations and options ensuring your new custom furniture will be exactly what you are envisioning. All custom waterfall tables are available in over a dozen locally-sourced woods or exotic tropical hardwoods!
Some customization options include dimensions, joinery & table base options, wood species, epoxy colors, edge details, and powder coat colors, just to name a few!

Live Edge
Beginning with slab lumber, your waterfall table is produced from live edge wood slabs! This style offers a 'live edge' where the edges of your tabletop remain natural to the original contour of the tree! Selecting a live edge custom waterfall table will allow you to choose from locally sourced urban lumber or exotic tropical hardwoods!

Butcher Block
Our butcher block custom waterfall tables are produced from dimensional lumber, in the species of your choice! Lumber is cut with precision and glued together at the top and bottom faces of the board creating a tabletop that consists of the edges of the the lumber. This method is the most durable of all options and is a great choice when selecting a wood tabletop that is very thick!

Classic-Cut
This is the traditional style of a custom waterfall table and is often the most cost effective! Beginning with dimensional lumber, boards are ripped with clean straight edges and then the edges of the boards are glued together to create your custom wood tabletop. The tabletop will consist of the face of the boards.

What type of custom joinery do you prefer?
All Oak City Customs, custom waterfall tables, are available with your preferred type of waterfall joinery. These options include our preferred box joint, the staple 45 degree and the more traditional butt joint. To learn more about each of these options, scroll right, or give us a call! The Box Joint
This is the tried & true approach! Using only wood, this type of joinery will be the most structurally stable. Tooth style joints are cut with precision on our CNC machine, then glued together using Titebond 3 wood glue, creating a design that will be a conversation piece for many, many years!

The Butt Joint
Utilizing hardware, two wood panels are joined to make a 'waterfall'! This method relies on the hardware for support, creating a traditional, yet modern design!

The 45 Degree
This method creates an incredible look by using the same piece of wood cut at 45 degrees, allowing the grain to continue through the edge. While incredible aesthetically, the reason this is our third suggestion is because this method is much more labor intensive, creating a higher price tag, as well as, it is not as structurally stable as the other two options due to movement that will occur in the wood, sometimes creating a break in the seam over time.
