• This is a true resaw with a capacity of 21" height under the guide (can cut up to 21" high material)
• The machine has a 20hp motor
• Blade is 1/8" kerf x 4" deep (it will remove about 1/8" of material)
• Powered feed of material
• Approx minimum thickness of resawn board is around 3/8"
• When resawing you should expect the following:
• 1/8" of material will be lost to saw dust per cut
• 1/8-1/2" of material will be lost to thickness plane a resawn board after this machine
• Meaning if we resaw a 2" thick board in half, there will be 2 pieces that are approximately 15/16 thick, but to then make them flat you will end up with boards that are between 13/16 and 7/16"
• Depending on the internal forces in the lumber, flatness of the starting lumber, and other factors, the final boards thickness is not an absolute certainty.
• Resawing can be sometimes unpredictable due to these factors and occasionally lumber is ruined. This is a low probability, but it is a possibility.
• Boards need to have one edge that is straight to ride against the table of the machine (we can't resaw double live edge material, one live edge only)
• We can't resaw cookie pieces (rounds / crosscuts)

• This bandsaw is set up with a 3/8" blade for profile and curved cuts
• It will do general purpose cutting and cutting on arcs and curves for profiles like timber gussets and arches.
• Kerf is approx 1/16
• This saw can be used to do very light resawing but is mostly a general purpose saw and for cutting curved parts.
• Approx 12" height capacity

• This is a panel saw / table saw with a 14" blade
• Cut height is 3 15/16, by flipping a board over a total resaw height of 7 7/8 can be achieved
• Blade kerf is around 3/16
• This is a slower way to resaw than the true resaw, however the result is more predictable and may be a better option if you only have a few pieces of material and they are less than 7 7/8" high.
